LOCATION: New England Baptist Hospital - Boston, MA
SITE: Main entrance to Hospital
COMMISSION: Create a sculpture as a memorial to Dr. Alexander McBride Wright -
the Chief Spinal Surgeon at NEBH.
CHALLENGE: Avoiding the initial recognition of a spine.
SOLUTION: By intertwining two spinal columns together, I was able to create an interesting form as a whole.
MATERIALS: Stainless Steel, Granite
SIZE: 10 Feet High
SUB CONTRACTORS: Argos Foundry, Rock of Ages, TSOI / KOBUS and Associates, Shamut Construction, Strata Design Associates.
