SITE: The art building's roof top has a sedum garden which was very flat and sterile.
DESIGN SOLUTION: Created architectural design panels with varying heights and lengths to soften the space and add interest.
CHALLENGE: Existing roof bladder prevented anything to be directly anchored into roof.
SOLUTION: Created stainless steel base plates to hold design panels in place which were hidden by the sedum plantings.
MATERIALS: Design panels were 3/16" and 1/4" thick steel and powder coated. The base plates were 1/4" stainless steel.
